Ruby joined nfpSynergy in August 2018 and is a member of the Projects team, assisting with bespoke research projects.
Ruby graduated from the University of Cambridge in June 2018, having studied Human, Social and Political Sciences, specialising in Sociology. Their dissertation explored the experiences of survivors of sexual violence in the LGBT community. Whilst at university Ruby volunteered with Nightline and Cambridge Sustainable Food, and acted as women’s officer on both Cambridge University Students Union’s LGBT+ Campaign and their college JCR committee.
Before joining nfpSynergy Ruby worked as a support worker with the National Citizen Service; as a volunteer teacher with Project Trust and as a peer mentor in a Pupil Referral Unit.
Outside of work, Ruby loves playing football, wild swimming and reading. They are also trying to learn to make cocktails, with little success.
